Cross-Ecosystem Risk Awareness

Users must fully understand the risks of cross-ecosystem bridging. Cross-ecosystem transactions involve additional risks compared to on-chain transactions, including smart contract vulnerabilities, network congestion, and bridge failures.

Bridge Security and Risks

The Zentra Bridge utilizes secure smart contracts and multi-signature validation. However, users acknowledge that cross-chain bridging carries inherent risks including but not limited to: smart contract bugs, oracle failures, network downtime, and potential exploits.

Transaction Finality

Cross-ecosystem transactions require confirmation on both source and destination chains. Transaction times vary depending on network conditions and may take from several minutes to hours. Users should not initiate time-sensitive transactions through the bridge.

Supported Networks and Tokens

  • The bridge supports specific networks and tokens as listed in the interface.
  • Users must ensure they are bridging to compatible networks to avoid permanent loss of funds.
  • Some tokens may have different decimal representations across chains.
  • Bridge fees vary by network and token amount.

Fee Structure

Bridge fees include network gas fees on both source and destination chains, plus a small bridge protocol fee. Fees are displayed before transaction confirmation and may vary based on network congestion.

User Responsibility

Users are responsible for verifying destination addresses, network compatibility, and token contracts before initiating bridges. The bridge is not responsible for user errors such as incorrect addresses or incompatible tokens.

Transaction Reversal

Once a cross-chain transaction is initiated, it cannot be reversed. Users must double-check all transaction details before confirmation. In case of failed transactions, users may need to wait for network resolution or contact support.

Smart Contract Transparency

All bridge smart contracts are open-source and audited. Users can review the contract code on blockchain explorers. The bridge utilizes decentralized validators to ensure transaction security.

Jurisdictional Compliance

Users must comply with their local regulations regarding cross-chain transactions. The bridge may restrict access from certain jurisdictions to comply with legal requirements.

Limitation of Liability

By using the Zentra Bridge, users agree that the service is provided "as is" and the team shall not be liable for any losses, damages, or issues arising from bridge usage, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.
